Architects have always been considered as inhuman creatures because of their use of abstraction. They used different types of abstraction like angels and lines to obtain solidity and utility to their work. In addition, one of the used fundamental character is regulating line. Architects have used regulating line to catch the rhythm that apparent to the eye and clear in the relation of the lines with one another. The regulation line brings a form of mathematics which gives reassuring perception of order. As the book mentioned “with your regulating lines you make a god of recipe.” which means that regulating line is an ordered satisfaction which leads to the pursuit of harmonious relations.
